Meet your Onda Instructors!

Christine Chapa

Christine is the founder of Lagree Onda and a Lagree-certified instructor who’s been part of the method for over 10 years—first as a client, then as a coach. She built Lagree Onda with one goal in mind: to create a space that feels welcoming, supportive, and real. A place where all bodies are truly welcome, where you can show up exactly as you are, and leave feeling stronger—physically and mentally. Christine is passionate about helping people feel good in their bodies, building confidence, and creating a community that lifts each other up both in and out of class.

She discovered Lagree while living in San Francisco and was instantly hooked on the Lagree shake. She started noticing real, visible changes in her body, along with a powerful boost in her running and cycling. Seeing and feeling those results made her completely obsessed with the method. That connection stayed with her through her time in Hawaii, where she continued taking classes at Komo Studio, before eventually bringing that same energy back home to Texas.

A native San Antonian, she lives in King William and is deeply rooted in the community she serves. You’ll almost always find her with her sidekick Travis nearby—he’s small, cute, and very much part of the Onda experience.

Outside the studio, Christine is an avid distance runner and former run coach, having completed multiple marathons and ultra trail races. When she’s not on a reformer or out on a run, she enjoys gardening, beekeeping, and living an eco-friendly lifestyle, which she also carries into Lagree Onda with a commitment to keeping the studio as eco-conscious as possible.

Tyree Murphy

Hi, I’m Tyree! I’ve been a longtime lover of the Lagree method long before becoming an instructor, and after years as a dedicated client, I’ve now been teaching for a little under a year. My goal in every class is to create an experience that leaves you feeling stronger, more confident, and more connected to your body — all while embracing the signature Lagree shake.

As a military child who’s traveled to over 10 countries, I learned early on how to connect with people from all walks of life and create community wherever I go. Combined with my background in modeling, those experiences deeply shape how I teach: intentionally, inclusively, and with a strong focus on honoring every body in the room. Expect slow tempo, controlled movement, form-focused coaching, and the kind of encouragement that meets you where you are before pushing you to that extra spring of resistance you didn’t think you had left.

Outside the studio, I’m pursuing my Master’s in Speech Pathology and have been part of the local fitness community in San Antonio for years through both movement and running. I’m a huge runner, a proud fan of the San Antonio Spurs, a movie buff, and a cat parent to two cats. My playlists are a reflection of me too — expect plenty of 90s/2000s throwbacks, rap, hip hop, house, and tracks that make those final pulses hit even harder.

Sean Butehorn

Hi, I’m Sean! I am an athlete turned coach with experience in acrobatic gymnastics. I spent 12 years competing, and 6 years coaching. In my free time, I enjoy running, listening to music, and cooking. I’m here to teach Lagree not only because I love the method, but because I believe in finding the best in everyone and showing them how strong they can become through consistency and dedication. See you in the studio!
